Anzac Avenue shared pathway

Footpath works are underway on Anzac Avenue between David Price Way and Daly Street.

Seaforth Civil, on behalf of council are completing the Anzac Avenue shared pathway.

This project will upgrade the existing 830m footpath and footbridge, which will improve connectivity and public safety in the area. Please see map in the photo section.

Works are progressing well with all footpaths works from Daly Street back to the footbridge completed. The widening of the footbridge will be completed once Ergon have relocated the adjacent power pole.

This $1,170,648 project is partially funded by the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program for the amount of $948,916 and Mackay Regional Council.
