Marwood-Sunnyside Road shoulder widening

Council will be completing works on Marwood-Sunnyside Road in Balberra.

Council will be upgrading drainage by replacing existing culverts at three sites and widening the road shoulder on the northern side of Marwood-Sunnyside Road. Please see map in the photos panel to the right.

Works will commence at the McDonalds Road end of Marwood-Sunnyside Road and progress towards the Bruce Highway.

Site crews will be mobilising in the area from Monday, January 10 with works expecting to commence later in the week. It is anticipated the project will be completed in November, weather permitting.

Works will be completed Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am and 6pm, and weekends when required.

There will be driveway interruptions for some residents, these residents will be contacted by the site supervisor prior to works commencing to discuss your access requirements.

The works will be completed under traffic control. Temporary traffic signals will be installed with one-way traffic for the project. We ask motorists to please follow all signage and instructions

There will be some noise and dust disturbances due to various plant and equipment that will be used on site.
