Consultation has concluded

Council has installed a scramble crossing at the intersection of Milton and Alfred streets to improve pedestrian safety.

A scramble crossing involves stopping all vehicles in all directions for one ‘traffic light cycle’ and letting pedestrians cross in any direction.

Should you have any queries, please contact project manager Ben Crowley on 1300 MACKAY (622 529).

This project was funded by the Australian Government’s Roads to Recovery program.
