Sydney Street lighting upgrade

Contractor C&A Constructions will be carrying out maintenance works to light poles along Sydney Street, between Boddington and Gordon streets.

The works are expected to take place from Sunday, June 25, until Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Works will be carried out as night works between 7pm and 5am.

These works include the upgrade of luminaire on some existing poles and installation of new light poles.

Traffic control will be in place while the works are under way. Please follow all site signage.

All equipment and machinery will be removed each morning except for barricades, which will be left in place around sites where footings for new poles are being constructed.

During these works there may be some minor noise associated. However, appropriate controls will be implemented to minimise any impact to residents.

Council appreciates your patience and apologises for any inconvenience caused during these works.
