Planned water main upgrade works to improve the water pressure and volume in the area, are scheduled to commence February, 2023, weather permitting.

These works are necessary to replace an existing aged water main. Please refer to map below.

Stage one of the works are scheduled to start Monday, February 13, with completion expected by mid-March, weather permitting.

This work will be undertaken during the hours of 6am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with some weekend work required.

The second stage of the project is expected to be undertaken later in the year.

All attempts will be made to minimise the impact on residents. Traffic management will be in place occasionally while equipment is delivered on site. Parking within the indicated area or works will be reduced for the duration of the project

There are no water interruptions anticipated during this stage of the project.

There will also be some noise and dust disturbances with various plant and equipment on site. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and we appreciate your patience during these essential works.

If you have any queries, please contact Carl Teske on 0436 812 948 or 1300 MACKAY (622 529).
