Mackay Regional Council is developing a Mackay Active Transport and Micromobility Plan to improve walking and riding across our region. We want to hear from you.
Your feedback will help shape the future of our pathways, cycleways, road crossings and connections to key destinations like schools, shops, parks and public transport. Whether you walk, ride, scoot, or are simply interested in safer and more accessible transport options, your input is valuable.
What do we mean by Active Transport and Micromobility?
Active transport includes walking, riding and rolling on any device that requires human power for movement.
Micromobility refers to lightweight, electric-powered transport devices (also called personal mobility devices – PMDs). An e-scooter is an example of micromobility.
For this survey:
Walking includes jogging, running and moving with the help of a mobility device (such as a wheelchair, mobility cane or walking frame).
Riding includes bikes, scooters, e-bikes, e-scooters and other wheeled devices.
Council invites you to provide your feedback below by completing this 10-minute survey. You can also provide your feedback on the map by clicking here. Survey closes Sunday, April 27, 2025 @11.59pm.
