Brewers Road bank stabilisation project

Mackay Regional Council wishes to advise that contractors Pentacon will be undertaking works to stabilise the bank at Brewers Road, Sarina. These works will shore up the road to prevent it from being impacted by erosion.

The works will begin in early December 2024, weather permitting. The works are expected to be completed mid-April, 2025. Please refer to map overleaf of the area of works.

Works will be undertaken from 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday.

Traffic control, which includes single-lane traffic and reduced speed zones, will be in place at Brewers Road for the duration of the project. Minimal traffic delays are expected.

There will be some noise and dust disturbances with various plant and equipment on-site.
