Council pushes for funding to deliver key projects

Council is advocating for funding to support crucial infrastructure projects ahead of the State and Federal elections.

A priority is extending Reed Street near Northern Beaches State High School to connect with Norwood Parade in Kerrisdale Estate, easing congestion on Mackay-Bucasia Road and improving access to key services.

Council is also seeking funding for the Finch Hatton Mountain Bike Project, Northern Beaches Community Hub, Mackay stadium, road upgrades and flood levee construction.

With many of these projects shovel-ready, council aims to enhance the region's liveability by securing State and Federal support.
