Pedestrians and cyclists can explore the Northern Beaches further. 

The four-kilometre shared pathway from Melanie Street in Eimeo to Pacific Drive in Blacks Beach has been completed.

The pathway connects to the existing shared pathway from Old Eimeo Road to the northern outskirts of Eimeo, allowing pedestrians and cyclists to travel safely to Eimeo Road State School and the commercial centre in Rural View.

This project was funded by the Australian Government's Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program and Mackay Regional Council.

    Crews will be reconstructing the shared path and roadside kerbs near the Eimeo and Blacks Beach Road roundabout for the next two weeks.

    The works will be completed between 3am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, with traffic control in place.

    Please adhere to all signage and instructions.

    These works are part of the Eimeo and Blacks Beach Road Shared Pathway project to improve pedestrian and cyclist safety.
