Designing a park that is inclusive and comfortable for everyone to enjoy. 
Inclusivity is a key priority when it comes to the design of Woodlands District Park.
The new all-abilities playground, which is scheduled to be completed in 2023, will be Mackay’s premier inclusive play facility and will be suitable for all ages and physical abilities. 

In addition to the playground, the park will feature accessible paths of travel and disabled car parking in several locations to improve accessibility across the whole site. Woodlands District Park will also feature wheelchair accessible public amenities and an adult changing facility for the disabled community.
