Project update #85 - January 6, 2025

Finch Hatton Mountain Bike Trails – Stage 1 Open, Stage 2 progressing.

Stage 1 of the Finch Hatton Mountain Bike Trails (FHMTB) was opened early last year. Since then, there has been more than 118,000 rides recorded on the FHMTB network.

The trails will continue to be opened during the festive period, pending severe weather incidents. Stage 2 of the Finch Hatton Mountain Bike Trails is progressing, with AEC Group and Blue Sky Trails building on the work that has already been done in Stage 1, identifying the most economic and efficient way to deliver the next stage/stages of the project. This will give council a clear pathway to plan, design and gain approvals for the next stages of the trails during 2025.
