Mackay's Libraries Strategy 2018-2023 has finished this stage

Consultation took place from April to July 2018 using the following methods:
- Customer satisfaction survey including library members and non-members. 778 responses received
- Public focus groups held in May at Dudley Denny City, Gordon White and Sarina libraries
- Staff workshops held with library staff in May over three days
- Future workshops held in July to seek input into the draft framework for the strategy
- Face to face feedback with Councillors and key Council staff
- Discussions with the State Library of Queensland on key trends and initiatives

The draft Mackay Libraries Strategy 2018-2023 produced by AEC Group is available for review. Community and internal stakeholders are invited to complete the online survey. Open for two weeks.
