The playground in Muller Park was recently closed to the public due to the unsafe condition of the rubber softfall.

The play equipment, which was close to 25 years old and in poor condition, has now been removed.

The area is being transformed into turfed, open space for the community to utilise.

The other amenities in the park including parking, public toilets, barbecues and seating will be open for use while a new playground design is being completed.

We recently held a community engagement session for residents to vote on their favourite playground option. If you weren't able to attend the session, you can still vote in the online survey. The survey is open until 11.59pm on Monday, November 25, 2024.

    Your votes for your favourite playground option and your feedback to councillors and council officers is incredibly valuable to us.

    If you were unable to attend the session but would still like to have your say, the online survey is open until Monday, November 25, 2024, at 11.59pm.

    Feedback from the community engagement session and online survey will be included in the community engagement report. The report will be available on the project page once consultation has closed.
