Project update: This project is completed.

­­Council is excited to announce that a new full-sized basketball court will be constructed in Northview Park. 

The improvement works also include lighting for the basketball court, footpaths, fencing and landscaping in the area adjacent the children’s playground. Care has been taken to keep as many of the existing trees as possible. Two trees will be removed but many shade trees are being planted to enhance the site.

The project is scheduled to begin in January and will continue until April 2022, weather permitting. Work will generally be conducted between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with some weekend work expected. 

The playground will remain operational while works are under way. There will be some noise and dust disturbances with various plant and equipment on-site.
