Project Update #2: Wednesday, March 11, 2020
Start date delayed due to poor weather
Council wishes to advise that due to poor weather this project's start date has been delayed to Monday, April 20. 2020, weather permitting. The existing playground will remain operational for the April school holidays.
We would like to remind the community while the equipment is being renewed, that the Northview Park playground is expected to be closed until the mid-June. During construction the public toilets and picnic facilities will remain operational.
The following new items will replace existing equipment:
• Two larger climbing towers
• Small combination play unit
• Carousel with rails
• Two single-seat spring rockers.
• Roofed shade structure
The following existing items will be remain:
• Digger
• Swing set
• Play equipment beneath roofed shade structure

You can visit: Baxter Drive Park, Glenfields Drive Park, Jardine Drive Park, Mansfield Drive Park. Annie Woods Park or the new Mackay Sugar Bowl co-located with the PCYC on Park Drive off Norris Road.
