Local contractor Vassallo Constructions Pty Ltd has completed safety improvements to the Goldsmith and Evan streets intersection.
The works included:
- New line marking near the roundabout, with approach curves, chevron marking and rumble bars to lower the speed of road users as they enter the roundabout.
- An indented tee intersection where McIntyre Street meets Evan Street to help reduce the speed of traffic.
- Two safety bollards on the corner of Evan and Goldsmith streets to help protect businesses on the corner.
