Works taking place for the next stage of safety improvements to Celeber Drive, Andergrove.

> PROJECT UPDATE - Stage three

Stage 1 of works included the replacement of streetlights, with stages two and three to commence in the coming months.

Stage 2 will include construction of a footpath.

Some properties will require construction of a new driveway entry to tie in with the road and footpath changes. Residents directly affected by these changes will be contacted prior to works commencing to discuss access requirements.

The footpath work is planned to commence on Monday, July 17, 2023 and is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete, weather pending.

Where possible, working hours will be Monday to Friday between 6:30am and 5:30pm, though works outside of these hours will be required at different stages to limit traffic disruptions in the area.

During the works traffic control will be in place, motorists and pedestrians are advised to please follow all signage in the area to ensure their safety. Please note, small sections of on-street parking will be closed during the works to allow for construction of the footpath.

Once these works are completed, Stage three will commence. Stage three will include line marking and installation of median islands. The reconfiguration of line marking will permanently remove on-street parking in the area shown on the map overleaf. All attempts will be made to minimise the impact on residents and road users. Council appreciates your patience and apologises for any inconvenience caused during these works.

Should you have any questions about this project, please contact Benjamin Crowley on 1300 MACKAY (622 529).
