Signalised pedestrian crossing on Mangrove Road

Motorists are advised of a new signalised pedestrian crossing on Mangrove Road to improve pedestrian connectivity and safety in the Mackay city centre.

It replaces the old zebra crossing and features traffic lights, pedestrian signal displays and line marking.

Motorists are asked to please adhere to all traffic instructions.

These works are part of the Caneland Station Bus Interchange project.

The Caneland Station Bus Interchange project is funded by the Queensland Government, through Translink, and being managed by Mackay Regional Council.
